The Last Bulldog Report – Farewell

It’s been real. This is it. As the Glassboro Bulldog season ended and the semester coming to an end, this means I am done writing this blog. To be fairly honest, I am surprise how things have turn out doing this blog. I have learned a lot this semester about journalism. I cannot wait to continue covering sports teams after college. Well lets hope – I am forever grateful on covering this exciting team.

I think it is very fun covering a team with low expectations coming into the season to do so well and make the playoffs, just how the Glassboro Bulldogs did. Shoutout to the kids for an impressive season. Covering this team made me realize you can still build a core of young players in high school that are not seniors and can continue with success for years to come. That is what I truly see from this team.

A special shoutout goes out to Coach Hagerty. Although I did not get permission to interview the players, Coach Hagerty was very supportive and helped me out a lot during my interviews. He gave me very good answers and made me comfortable as it was easier to do my job. I wish Coach Hagerty and the Glassboro Bulldogs a great offseason and I look forward to see what they can do next season. I have a good feeling this team can go far with the potential they showed this season!

Covering football was something I was not sure about, but I think I can have a future with it. As always I watch football every Sunday as I support my Colts! It is ironic how both the Colts and Bulldogs surprise people this year. Follow me on Twitter if you want to see my tweets and my retweets. I usually retweet sports memes that will make you laugh. @GiancarloHenao1

Well that is all. Thank you to everybody who viewed my blog this semester. Take care and Happy Holidays!
