Year In Review: Glassboro Bulldogs

Bulldogs

Overview
The 2018 season was mark as a fresh start for the Glassboro Bulldogs. Under first year Head Coach Tim Hagerty, the Bulldogs started their rebuilt with a playoff appearance. To say the Bulldogs season was a failure is an overstatement. A good start by making the playoffs can create a movement of success for Glassboro under Head Coach Tim Hagerty.
Season Review
The young Bulldogs were able to start hot with a perfect 3-0 record. After that they had their bye week, that is where they struggled to win a game. They lost three straight games to make their record an even at 3-3 in mid-October. With just needing to win one game to clinch a playoff spot the young Bulldogs were able to do that as they won their last regular season vs Woodstown 14-13. That gave the Bulldogs their first playoff appearance since 2014. They went on to lose 35-12 to Buena. With their playoff loss, all they had left was the consolation bracket where they won their game vs Maple Shade.
Through The Numbers
The season may not be over yet for the Bulldogs as they have their annual Thanksgiving game vs Deptford, but their numbers thus far are intriguing. Some can be improved, but overall there is hope for the Glassboro Bulldogs.

Total TDs: 21

Last three games (2-1) :

The Bulldogs do have one last game vs Deptford on Thanksgiving morning at ten a.m. They look to finish over .500. Either way the stats show inconsistency, however there is a competitive team in there. The future will tell what the Bulldogs will learn, either way it seems like they are heading to the right direction.

I have conducted another interview with Glassboro Bulldogs’ Head Coach Tim Hagerty. It is crucial to hear from Coach Hagerty as the Bulldogs’ hopes for a championship season came to an end last weekend. Coach Hagerty discusses the game plan versus Maple Shade. Coach then discusses the plans for the team for their two final games of the season and the message to his team. I ask him what was his best accomplishment throughout the season. Also he talks about what he expects from his team next year and what adjustments he can make as Head Coach. The goals he wants is for the Bulldogs to finish the year out strong, especially for their seniors.

The Bulldogs are a young and upcoming team coached by Tim Hagerty. After his first year as head coach, they got to the playoffs only to lose in the first round. The future is looking bright and Glassboro will look to improve next season. Find out more with my audio interview with Coach Tim Hagerty.

Glassboro end up winning their game vs. Maple Shade improving to 5-4. The Bulldogs will wrap up their 2018 season at home vs Deptford on Thanksgiving day at ten am. This is only the beginning for the Bulldogs as the Hagerty era is underway.
